Weekend Outings

On Saturdays and Sundays, we have the clinc closed. This is a good oportunity for the volunteers to explore many interesting sights within and outside the Province Zamora-Chinchipe.

Here just a few suggestions:

• Ecolodge Copalinga (Zamora, capital of the province)
• Hosteria Izhcayluma in Vilcabamba (Province of Loja)
• Yankuam Lodge (In the valley of Nangaritza in the Province of Zamora-Chinchipe)
• Tzanka, an ecological natural refugio (Zamora, capital of the province)
• A day trip to Yacuambi (28 de Mayo) to see the Sunday market of the Saraguros

Public Bus Schedule

• In our valley of Yacumabi (Guadalupe is about right in the middle) we have 15 public buses that come and go each day.
